March 2015
ARIES (March 21 – April 19)
This month it is your birthday and you are full of energy with Mars, Venus and Uranus all conjunct in Aries and well aspected to Jupiter for the first weeks. That means a willful excited expression of love and desire. Be careful what you desire though as Pluto is square to these planets. Be mindful of over emphasizing physical desires and then indulging in them. You are full of energy but you need to use it in positive directions. The recitation of the mantra of Vajrapani will remove negative astrological influences.
Aries Buddhists love to be motivators. This month you can start by sharing your enthusiasm with others. End the month by withdrawing a little and being reflective. The last two weeks are good for a retreat.
TAURUS (April 20 May 20)
This month is free of any direct planetary influence during the first weeks. Venus is the only planet of consequence effecting you in the last two weeks of March. That will stimulate love and affection for those around you. Match this with a good Bodhicitta motivation and you will feel wonderful and be a good friend to all. Remember astrology influences you according to the environment you are living in. Those in the northern hemisphere are awakening to spring. Taurus loves to work and springtime is a good time to start new projects.
Taurus Buddhists love to be grounded and practical. This month basically do any positive action you wish to be involved in. There are no problems except the ones you make for yourself by not being mindful.
GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)
This month starts with some problems but by midmonth it all turns around and is positive. The problem is Saturn is opposite Gemini and square to the Sun in the first week. Just be mindful of your sensitivity. Don’t over react to situations. Use the Buddhist idea of “Peace in every step.” The month ends with a good aspect of Saturn and the Sun which translates into self confidence for you.
Gemini Buddhists are quick on their intellectual feet. This month your mind may be judgmental in the first week of the month. Do calm abiding meditations. Midmonth you will start to express your ideas and feelings clearly.
CANCER (June 21 – July 22)
This month you have the blessing of the Sun and Neptune helping you be insightful and decisive. They are harmoniously positioned to your sign. Just be mindful after the middle of the month as Pluto will gradually come square to the Sun. Therefore slow down and be reflective. The effect can make you moody or despondent.
Cancer Buddhists normally work with feelings. This month do activities that are positive and beneficial for others. That is not astrological advice. That is just plain “good karma advice.”
LEO (July 23 – August 22)
This month could be full of many desires. Venus is at first well aspected to Jupiter in Leo and in the last ten days square to Jupiter. Therefore be mindful of your pursuing desires just for the sake of indulging in them. Think of it in this way. At first you have some pleasant desires and they seem reasonable. As the month ends though they become demanding on you as you seek gratification. Desire is useful when used in positive directions.
Leo Buddhists like to be motivators. This month practice mindfulness in all actions. Cultivate awareness that benefits both you and others. An enlightened motivation guarantees success, even if there are aspects of failure in some actions. We can learn from our errors.
VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)
This month you have the blessing of the Sun, Mercury and Neptune helping you be insightful and decisive. The month starts with a sense of altruism and closes with intellectual profundity. The reason is Neptune and the Sun start the month and that stimulates an altruistic broad minded point of view. The month ends with Mercury and Neptune together to stimulate ideas.
Virgo Buddhists do things in an orderly manner. This month be mindful of your enthusiasm, it could make too much work for you. If you manage the energy well then you will feel happy as the month closes.
LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)
This month you are excited by everything sensual. Venus, Mars and Uranus are opposite your Sun sign. That only lasts for the first two weeks and then the sensuality of life diminishes and you are just busy fixing things. Be careful of being too busy in the last two weeks, you have a lot of energy stimulating you and so it needs management skills.
Libra Buddhists keep life in balance. This month think twice before you act on something. Bring all your actions into your spiritual path.
SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)
This month you start with the Sun and Neptune giving you good energy in the first weeks. That is good for doing things as you are insightful and broadminded. In the last ten days be careful of agitation from inappropriate or fanciful desires. Venus will run opposite to Scorpio. Remember that distractions are because of lacking mindfulness, not because of external problems. If you give your power to the external world then you will never solve your problems.
Scorpio Buddhists are passionate. This month the other side of the mountain always seems more wonderful. Be mindful of your desires and slow down. The grass is green where you are, you just have to look for it.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)
This month starts with some problems but by midmonth it all turns around and is positive. The problem is the Sun is square to Sagittarius and Saturn. Just be mindful of your sensitivity. Don’t over react to situations. The month closes with a good aspect of the Sun and Saturn and is excellent for meditation and contemplative practices. Saturn is a very useful planet for Buddhists because it likes to reflect on the meaning of life.
Sagittarius Buddhists are inspired individuals. This month be mindful and maintain a happy attitude. Recognize how to use your wisdom to deal effectively with emotions. Every moment has the opportunity to awaken new realizations.
CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)
This month deeply felt desires play a big role in your life. Pluto is in Capricorn and will be squared by Uranus, Mars and Venus in the first ten days of March. Thus desires have a lot of energy and impact. Astrology is only an external influence though and your awareness and wisdom can remove the negative effects. This month would be good to do Guru Yoga. When you meet a problem think, “What would my Guru do in this situation?” That might help give you some clarity.
Capricorn Buddhists reflect and contemplate on decisions. This time pick positive areas to focus your deep feelings.
AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)
This month you are excitable and playful. Jupiter is opposite Aquarius and well aspected by Venus, Mars and Uranus. Venus is a good planet for Buddhists. It stimulates love and affection, practices used by Bodhisattvas constantly. Use this time to be spiritually loving with those around you. As the month closes be mindful of chasing desires rather than manifesting love. Venus will start to square Jupiter in those closing days of March.
Aquarius Buddhists are sociable beings. This month meditate and understand Bodhicitta as a way to express positive feelings. Bodhicitta transforms situations into a positive way of seeing things and working with them.
PISCES (February 19 – March 20)
This month is the birthday month. The month starts with a spiritual vision. Neptune is in your sign for ages and that makes you sensitive and insightful. This is greatly benefited with a conjunction with the Sun in the first ten days of March. In the later days of March Mercury will conjunct Neptune giving you good intellectual insights about life. Pisces is a spiritual sign and the month bodes well for you.
Pisces Buddhists are sensitive and introspective. This month enjoy the party and be full of love. Love and compassion are always good things to wear at any gathering.
